Yes. All tours are reservation based only.
The ride is Bring Your Own Beer or Standard Seltzer (BYOB). You are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages that are 8.0% ALC/VOL, unless it contains liquor, or is a seltzer or beverage containing distilled spirits (like High Noons), wine or champagne. We cannot have liquor, distilled spirits, wine or champagne in any form on board under any circumstances. You are welcome to bring your own beer, standard seltzers, and water. No glass or kegs allowed.
You can save time by purchasing alcohol on-site during your check-in! We carry select beer and seltzers.
No. Per city regulations glass is not allowed on the bike at any time. All drinks must be brought in cans or plastic containers. If your beverage of choice is in a glass bottle, you must pour it into a plastic container prior to your arrival at Nashville Pedal Tavern headquarters. Absolutely no glass at anytime.
You are responsible for bringing all beverages. You are welcome to bring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Everything must be brought and stored in cans or plastic, no glass, please. You can purchase alcohol on-site to save yourself time. We carry select beer and seltzers.
If you book a Private Tour you are also welcome to bring a socially appropriate playlist of your creation and socially appropriate decorations.
All tours launch from Pedal Tavern headquarters at 1504 Demonbreun (1 mile up the hill from the Lower Broadway area). Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tour start time.
(NOTE: the tour will begin and end in different locations, please make appropriate transportation plans.)
All tours will end in the Lower Broadway area.
Parking is not provided but there are multiple paid lots on Demonbreun Hill. Please note all rides end at a different location than the starting location, so please plan ahead if transportation is needed. We suggest grabbing a golf cart, Lyft/Uber or cab.
We typically end in the Lower Broadway area between 5th & 1st Ave (based on available parking).
An experienced, City Certified & ABC Certified Guide; a wristband for each rider entitling them to exclusive drink and food specials; a cooler stocked with ice and cups; music, silliness, fun and games!
Yes. All riders MUST be at least 21 years of age. Proof of ID is required at check-in. Please check-in 30 minutes prior to route start time.
No problem! There are only 10 seats that have pedals. 5 riders do not pedal.
Absolutely! Nashville is Music City! Your driver will provide a great playlist that will ensure everyone is having a great time.
Tours are 90 minutes.
It’s easy to rent multiple bikes – contact us directly for more information. Multiple bike reservations are available for private parties only. An automatic 20% gratuity is added to reservations of more than 1 bike. We require full payment upfront for multiple bike rentals.
There are 12 bike seats and the bench on back holds 3 people.
A combined minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15.
Heck yes! It’s called a party BIKE for a reason! We do have an electric assist that will engage during stronger tension. However, it won’t engage if you aren’t pedaling! Thousands of others have conquered this before and we know you can do it!
We ride rain or shine. Full or partial cancellations due to severe weather will be determined at the time of tour by management. You will be notified if your tour will be cancelled due to weather. Do not assume your tour is cancelled unless contacted by management. If management cancels due to weather, you will receive a pro-rated refund based on when the tour is cancelled. If your group decides not to ride based on current weather conditions, you will be charged in full & will not receive a refund. You will be given the option to cancel if temps are below 30 degrees or above 100 degrees. Please plan and dress appropriately for predicted weather conditions.
Unfortunately, due to city regulations, we are not allowed to have anyone in the middle who is not a Certified Employee of the Nashville Pedal Tavern.
Sign up for a public route! A minimum of 6 people combined are required to run a route. You will be contacted if your route does not meet the minimum and you will have the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
Absolutely! Decorations are welcome. All decorations must be socially appropriate. Nothing can be taped to the bike. We recommend decorating with anything you can tie.
Please note: we cannot cover our signs with decorations at any time.
Yes we do have a late policy for Public Tours. There is a $5/person late fee for every 5 minutes late to Public Tours.
Please arrive to 1504 Demonbreun Street 30-minutes prior to your reservation time to allow time to check-in, sign your waivers and receive your wristbands. All tours leave promptly at the scheduled tour time. If you know you may be late for your reservation, please call the day-of-reservation line found in your confirmation email and you will be given proper instructions by a staff member.

The closest liquor stores are Midtown Liquors (.5 miles) 1610 Church Street or Frugal MacDoogal’s (.9 miles) 701 Division Street. You can also purchase domestics and malt beverages at the Exxon Gas Station (.3 miles) 1111 Broadway.
Our drivers work for and greatly appreciate tips. 20% is customary for private groups. Automatic gratuity is added for corporate functions and multiple bike parties.
This is up to your discretion and we suggest checking with your doctor first. If you choose to ride, we suggest sitting on the bench rather than a pedal seat.
It is no more hazardous than riding a regular bicycle. However, as with everything, there is always risk involved so passengers ride at their own risk. Passengers will be required to complete a liability waiver at the start of the route.
Please dress appropriate for predicted weather conditions. Tennis shoes, sandals and boots are fine. We do not suggest high heels.
The following actions are not allowed while riding the Nashville Pedal Tavern. All riders must abide by our Code of Conduct.
THERE WILL BE A $250 CHARGE TO THE CARD ON FILE FOR ANY VOMITING OR URINATING ON PEDAL TAVERN PROPERTY.
If anyone violates any of these actions, you will be removed immediately and the tour will be canceled at driver’s discretion and no refund will be honored.
You will need to sign the waiver prior to your tour. The waiver is linked in your confirmation email. If you made the booking for your group, please forward the waiver link to all riders in your party to fill out prior to the tour. If you did not receive a confirmation email with the waiver link, please call us to confirm the email address 615-390-5038.
